@crashman24 This is DoWpro... It's a modification for Dawn of War: Soulstorm that intensifies the gameplay and balance whilst reintroducing elements from Dawn of War (Original), creating a hybrid.

Hey man i currently am a HoN player and am looking to get back into DoW. I was watching some of Vauls vids when i came across his DoWpro intro. I love the idea of a rebalanced SS so i was wondering could you give me some of the major changes? Like the scouts for each race- I have seen a few vids but i was just wondering other major changes- also do you have any tips for DE? I love the race but i just cant seem to find a build which works. Btw im not a girl- this is my sis utube acc. K thanks

@xxsallysjxx Ark, there are too many changes from DoWpro to VanillaSS to outline in a single (or even multiple) YouTube post(s). The main change is from the SS gameplay floor plan to the Dawn of War: Vanilla floor plan - every one of your units has a role to fulfil at every part of the game. Having said that, there is also a lack of all-in strategies that require guess-work to overthrow.

I'm not sure about DE in SS. If you watch some replays of good DE's, it should be evident enough for you.

@UltraSimon007 Ah ok is there a list of changes anywhere on the internet? also on RTSanctuary all the DoWpro replays are .rec - how do i play those files? Thanks

@xxsallysjxx To watch replays, put the .rec files into your Replays folder in the ProgramFiles/THQ/Soulstorm root, load up the game, go to Load Skimish, and switch over to replays.

I don't believe there is a collaboration of changes anywhere, sorry. There are just too many fundamental changes in the way it plays. Global changes would include a slower tech tree, less elites in T3, more researches in general, Critical Location bonuses drastically increased, all End-Game Timers reduced, and more
