I don't really care about how professional it looks, I'm a little more concerned with the results. I really wish you had showed the results provided by every kit, not just the equipment itself, which isn't all that helpful IMO

the fan cools it when it gets hot. oh is that what fan cooled means? HAHA
im doing a bathroom scene, are the fluorescent lights in the bathroom the same as the cfl bulbs the same? I so I don't have much money for a complete setup. whats the best lighting option? and whats the watts for the indoor lights?

@candicelews No, unfortunately, the lights in your bathroom are most likely not the same as professional lights. They could burn at a different color temperature. You can always try shooting with just your bathroom lights to see if that will work, but I wouldn't recommend mixing and matching your bathroom lights with the CF bulbs.

Thank you for the information...if you have time to answer this question it would be much appreciated....what about lighting for a very small subject (animals). The vids I am doing are going to be the same over and over. Please see my channel for example. Thank you very much!

@thepaintingferrets I think soft lighting would be a good way to go for you. One or two fluorescent lights should probably do the trick. Just try not to blow out your animals with too much light. (Fluorescent lights also don't heat up, so your animals will remain comfortable and not want to run away from the glow of hotter lights.)

@tubetape Thank you for replying. I ended up going with two Halogen work lamps (cheapy route). They do the job I guess. If I ever need to upgrade I'll look you guys up.

@thepaintingferrets My pleasure. I hope the lights work out for you - and all your animals too, of course.
