Holzhacker Buam

OK, OK - I know you never expected to hear a tune like this one by me. :-))
But when I found it on Ton van Tergouw`s site (global.instro.nl/ ) I just wanted to do something very unusual and funny.

This is a traditional Brass- tune -- the full title is "Mir san die lustigen Holzhacker--Buam" which means " we are the funny wood-chopper- boys."
Often the boys perform a traditional dance called "Schuhplattler" to it which looks strange and funny the same time. So you have to find out yourself whether you like it or not.
I promise my next posting will be of another kind. ;-))

sorry, I have to disappoint you. This tune and this "Schuhplattler-dance" is not done in my part of the country.

And contrary to polular belief we don`t all wear "Lederhosen" as not all British wear bowler-hats :-)))

In fact it`s only famous in Bavaria and at the Munich "octoberfest" there are more Americans and Japanese wearing this costume than local people. :-))))

No need to qualify your choice of tune.

Remember there are two ways to approach playing music; YOUR way and the WRONG way ! The whole purpose is enjoyment...
