  • With the S95 you could control the flash! I presume that the S100 still has this feature.

  • @mrcsch1 in the my review, I was explaining the lack of manual flash power output levels control.

  • Not much of a review. Just a spec sheet summary.

  • @TheWills1973, its my own personal user review on how I personally like my gear for. I'm not trying to promote anything.

  • how quickly does it take photos? I have fast moving kittens.

  • @D1g1mental, the new s100 does shoot faster than the predecessor s95 with the help of the new Digic 5 processor. That being said, a point and shoot type camera if you are shooting pets. I recommend a SLR for the best performance on catching pets movements

  • Can you kindly advise where I can buy a Op/Tech strap addressed in your video, please?

  • check out our tech review channel too!

  • is there an audio in port for mics?

  • @wan052 When starting w/ a battery that's total crap to begin w/, no adding of "improvements" that'll drain the battery life even more than in years past, is going affect that situation in a good way.

  • @bohnstube hence 'slight increase in battery capacity' (≈9%), in the scheme of things the continuous autofocus, optical zoom and motorised flash contributes little to battery drain when compared to the GPS.

  • @wan052 Almost forgot what's probably as big of a battery killer as any of the other "new features" & "improvements" that have been made to the S100 this year, that being the auto focus. This year in shooting still photos it actually works like one would expect it to work on a $400+ camera, & for the 1st time in this particular S-series of cameras, there's now continuous auto focus & optical (not just digital as in years past) zoom in video, all but wiping out any increased battery capacity..

  • @wan052 Yes, increased slightly. And then hammered by the new gps, the motorized flash when a spring-loaded one would've done just fine, the new battery this year which is NOT compatible w/ previous S-series cameras, and the new image processor also contributes a lot to the Canon S-series holding on for yet another year to the title of the absolutely worst battery life of any camera in it's class.

  • mehhh, u didnt show the moste important feature on the tripod...

its designed to be attached to the cam all times!
