New Years Day Grand Viennese Ball

The six Fledermaus Quadrilles are traditionally danced at midnight by everyone at the ball, and are also sometimes included in the opening ceremony.

  • Well. It's really fun. I uses to dance Vintage dances and they ARE fun. However, you can't realize the fact until yu've practiced then.LOL. Besides, they are romantic *sigh*

  • but it can be fun when you dance it yourself.

  • Actually, it is much fun to dance (otherwise we wouldn't do it!). Yet it's a different kind of fun than today's dance. While modern dances are all about individual expression, 19th century dance was mostly about social harmony, smooth interaction between people.

    Don't you feel sometimes that our society lacks harmony ?

    The only requirement is to have learned to dance. No social barriers.

  • Very clean, but it doesn't look like any fun to dance.
