wow, i have the same stove as you do and i was planning on purchasing that griddle. Lodge also makes another reversible griddle called the Lodge Logic Doubleplay it costs less than the one you have. That one has two small handles on the corners instead of in the middle. Thanks for posting, i will now buy the Doubleplay one so it will fit properly on the stove.
I wonder if there is any more advantage to one of these than using two large frynig pans. Biggest problem is the middle areas does not get heated properly unless you have a griddle burner. ALso with both sides being used to cook on and being oiled this means you are heating an oiled surface which will creates lots of smoke and fuems you dont want to be breathing in. BNOrmally a pan the side you heat is not oiled. If you are seriosu about a griddle i reccomend an electric catering grade one
Thanks for the review. I love my cast iron griddle too. One possible recommendation on the problem you have with the burners....trim (cut) the burner leg that's getting in the way so it will sit stable.
Sure you may not like doing that but it's an easy fix to the problem. If you do a clean cut on the legs, hardly anyone will notice and you'll be set!
