Okay, it's not the most powerful card but we all already know this.
How could you imply a recommendation for the GTX275 or HD4870 against the GT240 as they are obviously not even in the same league.
Not all people require video cards for playing modern titles at 1920x1200 with 60+ FPS.

It's a rebadged 9600/9800 gso card with some ddr5 slapped on it. STOP REBADGING YOUR PRODUCTS NVIDIA!!!!!

need help guys, got a gt240 ddr5, and gtx 470 in sli, , they have different driver so i cant use the gt240 as my physx card, is there a driver that i can use that works with this kind of set up? thanks

Even at 1920x1200 and max settings on MW2 the EVGA GT 240 SC should hopefully keep above 40 FPS mostly.

Bang for buck at I am happy it plays smooth mind you the 4850 ATI is alot better... But double the money..

yes my son plays what the card on high and at 1600x1850 he gets 50-60 on the same game.

Call of duty modern warfare 2 at max settings and 1600x900 res and keep at least 40-90 fps and not go down much in fire fights?

Yes . You are right ! . But if we need a card for business , and for some programing , than i would recommend an Ati 4350 ( 512 GDDR2 ) , or an Nvidia 9600GT ( 512 GDDR2 ) .
But in the same league ? Maybe an Ati HD 3600 , or a 9800GTS . I think its nonesence , that they mounted 1 GB GDDR5 memory in a mid end card .
