  • Nice rock n' roll DIR F video !

  • raaaawk on..thanks !!!!!!!

  • Do you think that big guy in the video could actually swim 300ft with no stopping in under 14 minutes?

  • The course will encourage him to do so

  • This is the only thing that is stopping me from finally taking the DIR-F... i just don't think i can actually do the swim, man.

  • Hit the pool 3 times a week. Take a few lessons..because alot of it is technique..if your technique is bad..you are wasting energy in the water

  • I am the big guy in this video 6 foot 355 pounds.. and i swam the 300 feet with out stopping in 9 mins and 45 seconds. Dan Mackay was our instructor. And i did the 50 foot breath hold with ease right after the swim.

If i can do it anyone with the same determination can do it!

    regards,

    Michael Lambert

  • @Vurdulak I swim 300ft in less than 1:40 min. So everybody should be able to do it in 14 minutes.

But the requirement is 300 yards. Still, with just a little bit of training, everybody should be able to make it, as it really is not that fast or hard at all.

I am not a fast swimmer, but I do 1000m (a bit more than 1000 yards) in less than 18 minutes, just to give you some perspective.

  • I am not a good swimmer but manage to do it too! 13 mins.

  • @Vurdulak

It is not that diffcult. One girl in my class did it in 7 min. I did it in 9. A 65 old man did it in 12. If you can't do it, GUE is not for you.

  • Man, that takes me back to my fundies course with Dan. Nice job, I could just about hear him talking ;)

  • Damn, what does "GUE" stand for?! "Fat People Diving Association"??

  • WHOOOOT NTD!!!! im doing my open water diver class there wooferbitch do you know james young at NTD?

  • its 300meters in 15 mins for DIRF. I think 300ft its for ITC or T1
