    I was trying to follow your instructions pertaining to linking vb to ms sql. I was successful in

    creating the database and file following your example. I However, was not able to connect the

    file to a form created in visual basic. Could it be that I am using VB 2010 express instead of visual studio

    2008 or 2005? I will truly appreciate your help with this.

  • @ancon100 No, it really doesn't matter what IDE . The problem most likely is in your SQL Connection string. Google a site called " Connectionstrings " I believe it will help you.
