***hey people! the song in the video is NEW, its the album version of Get Back by demi lovato. I've heard tht Nick sings backup vocals, im not sure if its ALL of the Jonas Brothers or just Nick but if you listen closely you can DEFINETELY hear him during "Kiss me like you mean it", I know for a fact that they help produce 6 songs on her new album [yes ik, wow!] and co-write a lot of her songs. Well nuff about tht, onto the storayy!
chapter 11!!
[yup u guessed it, regular POV!]
We are told to never let go and persevere through thick and thin, but wat is it that we are to never let go of? To my surprise, the person on the other side of the door was Nicholas Jerry Jonas. The last person I wanted to see. "Nick-" I began but as usual, I was cut off. "No, listen Sarah, I have to tell you something very imprtant right now, I know your mad at me but this is something I really have to tell you." I nodded and turned the music completely off. He sat on my bed and I sat next to him. He took my hands in his and stared into my eyes.
"I'm afraid Carly has past away." I didn't say a thing. I couldn't believe it. I sat there looking at him blankly for the next couple of minutes "Wha-how-wh-when?" Curiosity got the best of me. "Aparently when she slit her wrists she hit a blood veisle [sp?] which caused her to enternally bleed to death." I didn't want to cry this time. I wanted to keep it all inside. I needed to show them that I'm no longer a kid. So I got up with the same blank expression on my face and calmly told Nick to get out. "Nick could you please go home now?" He looked scared, I think he thought I was in denial. Which I think I was too. "Um, sure. Try and feel better, okay babe?" He tried to give me a hug goodbye but just as he wrapped his arms around me, I made a mad dash for the bed and told him to close the door behind him.
NICKS POV [finally! lol]
My God. She is going delusional. I knew she was just sucking it in, she was hurting deep inside but didn't want to admit it. I guess this is part of her whole "act mature" scheme. I could see right through her and I don't buy a thing. The way she pushed me away...I don't know, it hurt me.
ON my way downstairs, I bumped into a girl about Joe's age. She had the same medium length hair that Sarah did, only it was blond instead of red and her skin was quite a bit more tan. It looked like she was headed for Sarah's room. "Um hi." I said. She looked me up and down, "Hey cutie, who are you?" She had a look in her eyes, and it kinda gave me the chills. "I'm Nick, Sarahs friend." I finally reconized her! This was Sarah's cousin! I guess she's visiting for the weekend or something. "Hmm...I think I've met you before. Aren't you the one with the older brother my age?" I thought about it, and I think Joe has mentioned her a couple times before. I nodded, "Joe, is it? Yeah I know him. He's in my biology class." I was confused, she went to our school? "You go to my school?" She looked dumbfounded. "Uh, yeah. I kinda live here." I must hav made a weird face because she said "Whats wrong?".
"Oh nothing, I better get going." And sprinted to the door. WHy the hell didn't Sarah tell me about her cousin, that LIVES with her!?!?! And how come I have never seen her out of all the times i've been here? Weird.
Courtneys POV:
Well that kid was weird. I made my way up to my room. Ahhh, now I remember that kid. Definetely Joe's brother. I had a couple encounters with Joe, if ya know what I'm sayin. But other than that I don't really know him all that well. He's a lot like me though. The boy version. And he was veryyyyy sexyy. Now that I remembered him, I decided to give him a call. "hello?" he answered. "Hey joe, its courtney from biology." His voice lightened up a bit. "ohh hey!" I wanted to see him, right now. I could barely stand it any longer. "Wanna hang later?" I asked sweetly. "Sure, how bout your place? Theres kinda a family crisis at my house and its like fricken a tear fest." I nodded even though he couldn't see. "Sure, come over in 5?" He said yes and said goodbye.
My room was a serious freak palace. I had mirrors all over. It was crazy, Aunt Lauren and Uncle Steve [sarahs parents] never knew a thing either. Their were exotic colors on the walls and stuf like that, but before I could even finish my thoughts of my freaky room, Joe knocked on the front door. I heard Sarah about to go open it, but I ran ahead of her. "Whats your rush?" She yelled from the stairs. "Hot date" I smiled back at her. I opened the door and there was Joe, looking hot. No correction, really hot. I heard the door slam from upstairs and I just ignored it.
