The switch you're talking about is actually a short-circuit device. It's made of a small screw holding the plus-side of the conductor and on top of that a piece of spring steel connected to ground. The two are seperated by the split of a hair and require just a light touch to shorten signal and make no sound. Sync up "touch" and "dandy echo" [in various times and keys] and there you have it :-)
