Oi-mawashi is an Ai-kata (additional instrumental piece) arranged into the Kabuki numbers of Musume Dojooji and Yoshiwara Suzume.
On first run through we both play hond-de (part one) in unison, and on second run through Sensei plays kae-de (part two).

Interesting. Being a 杵屋長唄 style person, we have this using 替手合方 similar but not like this in the chasing way.
Great vid.

Is this similar to 杵屋流's 替手合方秘曲?

If I understand correctly, this is called Oi-mawashi Aikata (or chin-chiriren Aikata) the most popular Aikata in Naga-uta, and that the one played here is not associated as being in a Kine-ya nor Kine-ie style.
