From the 70s to the 21st century, Neil Young still gives me the goosebumps with this song. I feel like I'm 16 again, back in 72, and I feel like getting high again!

you have to remember this song was based on a movie script of the same name written by dean stockwell, so a lot of the imagery might relate to the movie and not necessarily be metaphorical or neils big statement about earth.

yeah the singing is good from neil. i guess all the cheering and crowd noise weirds me out. its supposed to be a quiet song.
