  • @RockSlaveBH CAPCOM for Ascent was Gregory H. Johnson not yo be confused with the pilot Gregory C. Johnson.

  • Who is the CAPCOM?

  • good thing they have three extra transducers

  • Well, at your age, I think the most important thing would be to make sure you're doing well in math and science.

That's pretty much a prerequisite to any work of this kind.

  • i really wanna work as one of them im 13 years old can someone give me tips to help me become 1

  • I think it was "Out P" for outboard pressure.

  • Really nice video. Thanks for posting.

  • Cool video and thanks for the explanation of some of the call-outs. Really helps to better understand what is being said.

  • Hmm...some call-outs from CAPCOM to Atlantis that I've never heard before; 2:19 (concerning ASA status), 2:50 (concerning MPS H2 LP (Main Propulsion System Hydrogen Low Pressure) & 4:26 (Disregard again on the MPS H2 LP, but only on Left engine) with explanation at MCC about it being a possibe transducer error that cleared itself, but continues to "toggle" (warning on and then off). They made MECO "close" to target and no OMS (Orbiter Maneuvering System) burn to be on-target for orbit.
