ファーガソンが在籍していた50年代初めの数年間は紛れもなくケ
ントン楽団の黄金期だったと思いますが、彼個人の人気としては『 スタートレック』や『ロッキー』のテーマなどクロスオーバー作品 を連発していた70年代に止めを刺すでしょうね。 -

@60otaku3 I was at a concert in Carnegie Hall in the early 1950s and saw this performance by Kenton. I sat in the 11th row it cost me $5.00. Furguson like to blow me out of my seat. I have the same album( on 45 lps) you show in the video, but it is kind worn out from many year of playing it. Yours is really clean . I was looking for the June Christy side here on You tube,which is on the other side of Halls Of Brass. Can't find it. My June Christy is scratched pretty bad.
