Unfortunately, the LISA couldn't take place in 2011 and been postponed to Feb 2012 due to Funding limits -_-, in other words after all the money spent on war and invading other countries, there's no money for Science. Bravo U.S. Bravo.

@Johnf85 how? science doesn't disprove creation. its not like god would limit his ability to create a single universe. how do we know he didnt set everything in motion, created the laws of physics, and saw the need for evolution for the survival of his creation. i agree that organized religion limits the idea of a GOd to some, but you have to look at it in the sense of how much we can comprehend.

If there is a parent universe, then where did it come from? Anyone have any ideas?

Hwite hole.

@mkv1614 If you knew anything about science you'd know you start with a theory and move on from there to the next step. Like Michio said, if what's observed by "Lisa" proves them wrong, they go back to the drawing table. If it confirms their theory, it becomes scientific fact. End of story.

a white hole- that's a first time i've heard about that it's very interesting to hear about that.. makes you think of everything in such a different way- more so if you get into string theory- and i can't wait to hear or even discover things like what Michio kaku does (and i'm only 15)

Why are physicists like this Professor (!) always try to consume metaphysics? It is like science is misused to explain the why, not the how. The scientists (especially in America) feel so forced to avoid being consumed by creationists, that start to talk about untestable things like multiverses, instead of just doing their job as scientists.
Multiverse theory is not science, it is not testable. Do not explain the why questions, explain the how.Science has no other purpose than that.Except in US.
@dragonmate011 Agreed. And thank science for the things to accept. If we accept religion we have to stop looking.

@discgolferbo Really? Try watching "The Universe - Multiverse Parallel Universes (History Channel ®: 2008)" lol. Its really interesting about the M-Theory and parallel universes. If you're into all this stuff, search what i quoted (just copy and paste it into the search bar) and watch it =]
