Thomas Cook's G-TCCA, ex G-SMTJ, takes off from Runway 23L at MAN. This was the aircraft involved in the hard landing at Punta Cana in 2005, whilst flying for Skyservice, which resulted in the aircraft fuselage cracking. No worries though, Boeing sent a repair team down the the Carribean and got her patched up. ;)

  • what a shan for them! After been delayed 28 hours with thomas cook i wont be flying them again but that made me laugh :)

  • unfortunatly, was one of their a321's. They have it to Thomas Cook Scandinavia :(

  • LOL I bet that swinging panel got a few laughs from the passengers!

TCCA used to be G-SJMC with AIH/MYT, SMTJ is one of TCXs A321s.
