  • how fast dose it go

  • @Slovflyer Hey thanks for the info. Appreciate it.

  • @judgegixxer Well I tried it only once so far in a custom foamy. Worked beautifully for around the 2 blocks (was too afraid to go further than LOS and it was dusk). I spent $50 on a 800 milliwatt (overkill for air) tx/rx SunSky combo, $40 security cam from Fry's Electronics, built-in mic +$20 for 120* lens (default lens is doable but narrow FOV).

    Barebones:

    $50 vtx/rx,

    $20-$40 420p(?) cam

    $10 3s lipo,

    +handy work wiring

+$40~ patch antenna for better directional signal strength

  • @Slovflyer Whats a ballpark range for an FPV system with your planes? I would love to try one out in my truck.

  • @2stroke4me Glad you liked it. Gettin a little cool outside for bikes so I gotta drive the tiny 4 wheeler now.

  • it sound's like a jet engine after a while lol

  • @judgegixxer Hah yah I read that you put 250 km in another video...that's crazy when I think about it, ordinarily we never know how many miles we put on our r/c cars/trucks haha. That's a pretty good reliable setup looks like - at least as far as putting on the miles. Must be loads of fun driving long distance like that! Now if only we had the technology to do so with only FPV gear!

  • @judgegixxer I went to camp for lunch too so thats 48 km per day.
