Tender, hilarious, and awkward scene from Ryosuke Hashiguchi's 1995 film "Nagisa no Shindobaddo" ("Like Grains of Sand").

  • Do whatever you want and he just gives him a hug. So cute!!!

  • its extremely awkward, but thats what makes it so realistic. if this were real life, i can't imagine it being any LESS awkward, ne?

the way they acted it, the way the taller boy is so painfully aware of how weird the situation is...and yet is still trying to be encouraging....

i think it was filmed perfectly.

  • Do you know where I can watch the whole movie?

  • @apolloandhyacinth you've missed the point of the scene. Or perhaps, the entire film.

  • possibly the worst hug in the history of hugs! lol

  • Does anyone know a website where you don't have 2 download these bl movies and you could just watch ??

  • HE WALKED TO HIM LIKE THE WEDDING MARCH

  • 4:05 He looks down for boner

  • ;_____; I identify so much with the little boy ...

  • I just saw this film last night and I thought it was good. Lots of awkward scenes like this one but, the movie is surrounding Angst and growing up. Also, a random fact is Ayumi Hamasaki plays the role of "Kasane Aihara." I noticed many people hate the ending but, you have to look at it from every angle. Anyway, Try veoh to watch the movie.

  • he's trying to squeeze the other boy! it's not wasabi, darling!
