serious comment is serious i guess...i think if you just wrap the cable in electrical tape and make sure the wires are touching it should work. maybe?

P2 Then, take the already twisted wires, and twist corresponding wires together so they come together. After that, take isolation tape and isolate each connection you made earlier seperately. To make sure everything is in place, you can hold them together while you wrap some isolation tape around. Doesn´t look beautiful, but hey, it should work just fine again. If you want, you can extend the length with putting in a wiring in between the broken cable. Just pay attention to color and size.Cheers

The way you can fix broken cables is as follows: Get yourself a electric wire clipper, get clean cuts, remove outer protective layer, remove protective layer around the actual cable, be gentle while doing so. then, you should cut around the layer of the electric wires - Watch out not to cut the actual wires, only the outer part. Take the wires and twist them gently until they become one unit. Repeat for each cable and remember the color of protection layer they had when you started. > P2
