The Object the Harvard .KML and stellarium point me to for date 04-09-2011
http://scully.cfa.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/returnprepeph.cgi?d=c&o=CK10X010
The glitching effect is (not!) fixed when uncompressed. I should have guessed.. codec was named Microsoft!!! PFFF
Compression: Microsoft Codec (no other name) (Maybe they should call it "Yet another useless microsoft codec")
I wonder what would happen if we started naming comets with Microsoft product names. Wouldn't that be some effort from our part to help the comet miss earth? They are well known for misses!! Let's call this one Microsoft Office. It will bug itself out before it even comes close!!
Get the file here for any luck with uncompession/processing:
(video contains 850 frames)

1.70mb (about 350mb uncompressed)
coords for 04/09/2011:
12 40 34
-05 09 27
Object now sets at 20:30.
about 20 minutes of view time from my location.
now relatively easier to find through finder and seems a lot closer than last months take.
could very well be Asteroid Juno too. The colours could be the Horizon effect.. but is it? Consistency on the ephemeris of Harvard proves (to me) otherwise!
This is the very narrow field of view result of the DMK coupled with a F/10 telescope. This is why there are no stars, we're too zoomed in and the FOV is small, to see stars behind would need long exposures which is impossible on my mount!
Equipment :
Meade LX-200GPS 14" Alt/Az Mount
Imaging Source DMK 41AF02.AS
Telescope NOT Collimated
NO Autoguide
Tried to record in another format but i only had time for one trial. so this is it. This time got betrayed by wrong codec.. At least we manage to get colours with this.. i will go out again tonight!!!
At the end where darkness simply falls is the end of my view time. Mountaintop reached.
One more session with a crappy result.. sorry ppl, been trying my ass off here ;-) If i had a perfect result i would upload, i am uploading all results even if people don't like them as i improve the conditions 20 minutes a day. Please stop commenting negatively if you don't know the perplexity of the field or if you are not there to help me literally lift a 14" inch scope to place and align every day so i can waste 15 of my 30 minute observation of the object so i can show results to YOU!
If you live in Athens send a msg to visit me and observe together ! Open minds (only) welcome
or simply TURN YOUR COLLIMATED-AUTOGUIDED telescope to the Harvard coordinates and respond here with a descent result !! as long as there are none i will continue uploading my amateur results!!
B real and b safe
Is that after sunset? Are you in Northern hemisphere? the reason I ask I saw 2 weeks ago what looked to be a comet just after the sunset here in the UK and the comet came from SSW at a 45 degree angle down to where the sunset and that was about 8.30 evening here!

@pete3003uk Yes, it's after sunset, it IS viewable from the Northern Hemisphere but not for too long. until 20:30. and it is where you describe pete. 45 degrees SSW from sunset. I hope others will be able to get a glimpse and give us descent terrestrial footage!!
This Is the object, PERIOD
