About Scarab:

How do you design a robot that can be close to the ground for drilling, while maintaining a sufficient belly clearance for mobility and obstacle avoidance? Scarab solves this problem by altering it's body pose. Scarab's nominal driving pose allows for extreme mobility and obstacle handling, while Scarab's drilling pose lets the robots belly lay on the ground.

  • @wiljhaiye That's a logitech pc controller, it has nothing to do with a ps3. :/

  • @14omega28ok I agree that science is art, but it seems to me like you discredit art a little too much. There is great value in art. In fact, many scientists and engineers are artists themselves outside of their profession. Art helps strengthen peoples creativity and out of the box thinking skills. These are essential for good science and engineering.

  • @TheFriedrichvonSchil Science will save your ass, and may allow humans to thrive for thousands of years if we can get off this planet. Science saves millions of lives every year, Science gives you this computer that you're sitting on, Science Created that car you go to work in every day, Science is the most important thing known to man. What the fuck is the Mona Lisa going to do when we're facing a dire situation? Did I mention that the painter of that picture was a inventor? Science IS a art

  • @wiljhaiye It's really no surprise, there's a lot of generic ps controllers.

  • loud popping and cracking noise @ 4:03..awkward silence for a couple seconds

  • @TheFriedrichvonSchil Society spends money on what they see as important. If society sees art as not important they will not spend money on it. America is a free nation, not a communist one, we spend money on what the people see fit within the bounds of the law and constitution. I want my tax money to go towards stuff I WANT, I don't want my money going to something I don't support.

  • @TheFriedrichvonSchil what the fuck has art ever done for society?

  • Is daily planet gonna be on in the summer?????

  • @wiljhaiye thats a pc controller...

  • @wiljhaiye it is logitech dual action gamepad
