Dionysus God of Wine

The rebetiko song is Καμηλιέρικο (Kamilieriko - Camel Driving song), by Γιώργος Μπάτης (Yorgos Batis), taken from Τα τραγούδια του υποκόσμου Vol. 5 (Songs of the Underground VOL. 5). The paintings are mostly from Alfons Mucha and José Benlliure y Gil.

Dionysos (Διόνυσος) in Greek mythology is the God of wine, winemaking and also of the grape harvest. Dionysos is seen holding his Thyrsos, which is a staff made of fennel, and decorated with leaves and pine cone.
