Seriously its very simple, whatever the number the number you choose at the beginning, when you go reverse you always stop at Skyscrapper city. After removing some choices, he ask you to move 4 times in the direction you want... you will always run into the Moon...

I taught it was freaky when I was on the city and I had to move back and as he started counting he looked at city first haha

is a stupid trick because when u move 7 for example, then he take away the 2 steps infront and count backwards 7 u will still go back to where every1 is pointing
