Cool, I'm looking in getting this midi controller with Logic 9 on my Macbook Pro.

Did you tried doing the beat with the pads? are they any good? I would use that for drum and the keyboard for bass part. I'm writing standard band type of song before playing it with real musician's...i play guitar over it.

The pads are probably good, but for me they're a bit "too velocity sensitive" if you know what I mean. I find it difficult to play even sounding drum parts on them. Also, I've been playing drums on regular keyboards since I started out, so that's what I'm used to. Thanks for commenting!
