There is not a fundamental right to access to health care, but there should be equal access to all Americans, regardless of race or class. People should continue to have the opportunity to purchase private health insurance, but the government should provide a basic minimum level of coverage for all Americans.
To force anyone to pay for that with which he disagrees and does not benefit from is tyrannous and wicked. Spend your own money, not other people's money.

But I pay the government to safeguard my freedom and fight the fight against aggressors. That is why we have police departments and military. Any who loses their health care coverage due to loss of job, age and denied coverage will switch sides on the debate if they were not a firm believer of having the right to globally competitive healthcare.
The government does not have to provide it just crack down on the fleecing and eliminate .One pool and if you don't like go.

You are right, healthcare is not a right. Since it is not a right, there should not be any form of socialized healthcare, including preventitive. All preventitive healthcare does is push an individuals responsibility onto someone else.
