Lemonette's favorite Monkee (MichaelNesmith) & Linda Hargrove co-wrote this song.
Linda was a star in Outlaw Country Music, during the 70's, but her vinyl somehow never made the conversion to CD. It's a shame, she wrote amazing songs and had great success, or at least it looked that way to a fan. She co-wrote this song with Michael Nesmith, Lemonettes favorite Monkee.
Linda is well worth a listen. From the seventies but still on mark today. Some girl with sass should cut this tune, again.

does anyone have a video of Linda Hargrove singing the hit song she had, I think it was in the 70's, a great country song called "Mexican Love Songs" I'd love to hear it again, I've looked all over for a copy of it.
