  • I used to listen to pop in my beasty '74 Vega. Prince perm, and a fairly bumpin' stereo. Wraparound sunglasses, sleeveless t-shirt. Clamdigger pants. Girls sometimes sharing phone numbers. Gas was cheap. Life was good. This song was huge.

  • Spring of 1985. I was getting ready to graduate from the 8th grade when this joint came out. That was when every new schooler were true to the game.

  • Thanks for uploading. Who did vocals on this version? I know Jeanette did the vocals on the subsequent version that was more widely released.

The genius of Louis A. Martinee!

  • 80s music was great!

    A decade of big changes.

Dance music of 1980 was much different than what we played in 1989.
