To download an mp3 file of the accompaniment, go to www.steveparkhornmusic.net. This a wonderful, lively, but challenging movement. The range is from high B to pedal E in the cadenza. The background pictures are Nebulas from the Hubble telescope. Subscribe! I will be adding more solos on a regular basis. I teach horn at a University and my goal is to create a video library of some of the best horn solos for my students and others. Also let me know if there is something you would like me to record.

actually, it can be the best horn piece from haydn, beethoven, mozart, you know along the lines of that, that would be the most entertaining and unfortunately, it can only be about 4 mins tops.

hey, i play french horn. i'm also in a music theory class and since its the end of the school year, my teacher said we could bring in music for the class to listen to. unfortunately i have none other than the stuff ive played in band class. i was wondering if you could send me the mp3 for this so i can have something to present to my class and show that the french horn is awesome?

Fantastic performance of one of my favorite horn concertos. It's such a shame that many great classical-era horn concertos such as those written by Haydn and Forster are often neglected compared to the Mozart concertos.
