Visit http://earthquakedog.blogspot.com/ for the full story. ... I'm seen on the main floor of the Times-Standard newspaper running straight for the exit during the 6.5 magnitude earthquake in Northern California on 1-9-10. I understand that you are supposed to dive under a desk, but seeing as how this was my first real earthquake ... my instinct told me to GET OUT NOW!!! I am very lucky not to have been hit by the piece of debris missing my head by a few inches in the second segment of this clip. After leaving the building, I raced to the other entrance to make sure Jessica and Sophie made it down safely, as seen in the other videos.

  • lol at the end, the old dude was like "my god these young people run so fast"

  • that's one fast fucker!!

  • Put all of your dog and cats outside to detect planet X before it hits the earth. Early warning system.

  • wow aqui donde vivo se cucito uno de las mismas magnitudes pero fue occilatorio y se movio mi casa mas fuerte que miedo

  • I don't blame you for hauling ass out of there. I've lived in California all my life, and I still get freaked out when they happen. I hate the ones that happen at 3:00 in the morning, I get shook at to shit, LOL.

  • 00:14 Close call? I saw something fall from the ceiling...

  • that is so funny

    heres a dude

heres a dude getting up and running

heres the same dude running through a hall way

and now the guy running out the door.

  • wow I think my nick name for you is swift fox, you certainly ran like the wind ! I can only hope I can pull that off if faced with the same situation because I live in an area where they have not built buildings with earthquake saftey in mind and I rather not be here when it happens and the chance of our structures not holding up.
