  • Don't we have laws that are based on Peoples collective values on good and bad. We don't really need any religion for Democracy do we?

"religion makes people do good or bad" . you cannot possibly believe that statement. I'd like to see religious education outlawed to children below the age of 17, or least Rated R

  • You fail to understand that ideas of good and bad are available to everyone, mostly. The human capacity for understanding is belittled when people are told that without a book telling them what is right, they lack the capacity to know it.

If you're comfortable being spoken to like a child, have at it. I, on the other hand, have no need of being told as much and refuse to be spoken to in such a tone.

  • Again you dont need religion to convince people to do good

  • We all know this... My point religion makes people do Good N BAD, Hitchen's thinks everyone can be rational, when in fact I'll quote from above "We really are not that smart a race lets face it." So i agree lets get rid of religion for it's BAD, but how are you going to convince everyone else how to be GOOD??? Remember were talking about religion here and to it's intellectual followers. Not Convincing, Never mine the millions of believers out there!

  • were smart enough to imagine flying farts

  • The good would still be here despite religion

  • I like Bertrand Russels Teapot . Sums things up quite nicely.

  • Jump to 3:48 and skip the intro ;)

  • You're welcome. heh

  • @TheBlackLagooner - you know why we're all here... thanks mate!
