  • YouTube comments....The biggest yawn-fest on the internet.

  • anybody knows name of the bass player?

they are killin really..what a power!!

    thanks.

  • Whatever, you guys are nuts. This band is killin'. Bag it if you want, but if you do send me a link to where I can check your stuff out so I can see how you measure up.

    Peace!

  • Branford for all his magnanomous ego and chops has nothing new to say--just like his brother.

  • ..and an Ornette Coleman and John Lewis tune. What? I quote from the Penguin Guide to Jazz, "Marsalis succeeds mainly in reducing the stature of those titanic Obelisks to mere reperetory, perhaps a legitimate debunking, but that was not his intention." Which Imo, makes it even more sad. I mean, you don't go out to your gig and play Pursuance just like Trane. Branford should have written his own stuff in hsi own style, and I'm sure Trane would agree.

  • Btw, how many of these guys actually agree with Trane's message of polytheism that was his driving force to make this album? Of course, some of you bozos out there are gonna make he argument that Branford's sound si so different than Trane's, and that this is just an interperetation. If that's the case, then what's Branford playing at 6:54? Btw, I have this album, Footsteps of our fathers. It's possibly the most random album I have ever heard. Ok, A love Supreme, Rollin's Freedom Suite, and

  • Ok, hate to ruin the fun, but this is really lame.the concept that is. Do you really think trane would approve of someone trying to recreate one transitional record that he made? Not that Trane would care if they played his tunes. But this is nearly some kind of tribute where they try to copy the members of the band. Listen to Joey trying to play like Mccoy. It's pretty sad. Did Trane ever make a tribute album where he tried to copy members of the band and play all the same songs in that album?
