Lets be very clear about somethingI think ONE of the reasons (including myself) that people dont buy albums anymore is because of the quality of music that comes from these artists. They think that being signed to a label is the end-all-be-all to everything. And they put out a bunch of bullshit music that people dont wanna hear. And then they are quick to blame the internet. The internet is a very small part of the problem, but rappers who are only in it for the money is a major concern.

Which is why I only like metal. Not only crappy rap and R&B artists release albums, you know.

I buy albums. I only buy an album if I htink the quality of music is good. I agree with what you said, jhw16, but I dont relate to it because I buy albums for 2 reasons:

A. because I beleive in what an artist is doing and want to support them

B. because I love music and its great to OWN music from an artist I like

C. Because its a brilliant buy for what it is and well worth purchasing for me

and the hall of justus all the artist in these groups put out quality music and never sell more then 50 thousand. and yet they keep doing it because peeople like me and you appreciate the music
