Ten minutes that all it takes to see some cool train action. Well heres the video of the action yes I know its only 4 trains but still thats not bad at all for a mini day of railfaning. Since I class was canceled I decided to take a video of some train action. Well the first train I filmed was the silverliner 5 set that passed the ballest tampers. Then I filme the same set as it crossed over at Thorndale tower to wait for the eastbound amtrak keystone. The next 2 trains were amtrak keystones. I filmed both the east and westbound trains and got them meeting eachother at the west end of the old Thorndale yard. The east bound train gave to horn blasts. One for a guy tht was too bussy watching me film the other was for me. After the 2 amtraks passed I film the silverliner 5 set as it backs up to my platform and I get a sweet horn salute from the septa crew. To finish out the video I film silverliner 4's of GE heritage entering thorndale. I hope you enjoy this 10 minutes of cool rail action!!
