Hey Glendon I have seen all your post now I am going to my 1st sale on November 30th I have never done this before but all my life I have bought and sale stuff todate my best was a golf cart paid $100 for it sold it for $450 :) I told my wife if I take $200 and dont make my money back Plus some I'll never do this again. I work 4 days a week and off 3 days a week so just maybe I can do this to make some extra csah. Thank you for all your info

do you think young guy that lives in apartment can do this?....i was think about renting a warehouse (1000 sf) to hustle my storage auction finds...do you have a book on how to open a thrift store? is it a pain in the ass to have a store open to the public? or should i stay in the black market hiding in the shadows and pimp the stuff on ebay and cl? thank you.

@auctionhomeboy -dude I started out of my house! So yes you can. Have ANY business can be a pain in the ass! You are on ebay if you can deal with those folks you can deal with the public and yes I have a book- you are only going to make so much money in the shadows- dark one LOL

I went to my first storage auction yesterday, there were 13 different units. I got to see some storage auction drama first hand. A lady was going to try to bid on her own unit, but was denied. She was told she could pay what she owed on the unit to get it back, but she continually refused. long story short, it ended with her screaming and swearing her head off to the entire crowd while she was escorted off the lot. i almost bid on her unit too, out of sheer curiosity.

@auctionhomeboy u can also just get a pull trailer and take it othe flea market to unload it

most of the time the other vendors will come around and pick thru your stuff prior to opening.
