Here's our video review of Stern's new CSI pinball game. CSI is pinball designer's Pat Lawlor's last game with Stern and thankfully it's pretty good.

Three multiball modes make it a lot of fun.

  • what the heck, the music sounds like a SS from the 80's!

  • If your talking about the intro music of "Who Are You" that's because I couldn't find another version of the song that wouldn't get flagged for copyright.

The music in the game itself is pretty good, but nothing like the show. I was shocked to see how many of the real actors provided clips for the game, unlike 24.

  • Where are you? It looks like a video rental store/comic book store/ with pinballs in the middle. Awesome

  • It's a Video Rental/U-Haul/Book Store/Self Storage Pinball Arcade. Look up the Arcade Hunters episode of Castle Video in New Jersey. One of the best places in the state to play pinball.

  • @PressStartComic

Thats Excellent. I've googled Castle Video and will definitely go their!

NJ has excellent pin arcades, like 8 on the Break.

I havn't visited the shore boardwalks since 2001...but the pins might still be there.

  • @YalkOne And thankfully for us Captain Kirk won his latest legal battle. Somebody in the neighborhood tried to shut him down because they wanted him to file as an arcade and tried to force him out of business.

He won the first case and complied with the fire department, and I think the same person tried doing it again. So this past week he went back and won again!

You can't stop Pinball in Jersey, baby!

  • @pressstartcomic have you ever played family guy or shrek pinball?

  • ahhhhh ok, thanks for clarifying

  • What I felt weird also was the fact of the low scoring of the game as compared to the high scores the system expected you to get (unless the owner decided to up the high score numbers [possible?] to make sure that not so many free games were rewarded. You got all three multiballs in the video and several jackpots, yet when you got microscope multiball the camera only showed a score of 14+ million. I guess it feels weird that pinball designers changed the trend from getting billions of points.

  • It looks too geeky to me. It doesn't make much sense to me to have Grissom, and Sara in this game netherless have Grissom be the main person that is talking because he's gone from the show.
