  • Will you give up your personal relationship with Jesus to embrace the teachings of a man? This man teaches against a personal relationship with the Lord. Lord. .help them open their eyes!

  • @carkim521 I don't think that Frank Viola or Leonard Sweet teaches against a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. However, they do teach that a corporate relationship with Jesus Christ is essential in being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is Head of the Church. The Church is His Body. An individual Christian cannot express the fullness of Jesus Christ if it is not connected to the Body of Christ.

  • I need some new Christian friends, my brother. Will you drop me a line?

  • @cocampro How ya doing? Sorry it took me so long to respond.

  • @carkim521 And unless each member of Christ has a relationship with Him intimately and individually then how can they function in the context of a body. The body of Christ does not substitute our relationship with Christ but provides the habitat for us to fully function as members of Christ being built up in Him together. Just attacking a brother with nothing to show for it does not mean what you are saying is true.

  • @carkim521 My friend have you actually read any of Frank's books? Frank is a friend of mine and I have listened to his teaching for a few years. The truth is what Frank teaches is all about the individual relationship with Christ but also casts that in the context of living by Christ's life together with a community of saints. The lone ranger christian is not God's intention even though we may be alone at times God has designed us to be built together with other saints that share the same life.

  • I recently bought this book and waiting to get in the mail this week, I read the reviews, and seems to be an amazing and insightful book. Thanks for this brief preview!
