Please DO note that you will not get sixpack abs by just doing this exercise. To get sixpack abs you will need to get a good diet, a good muscle building workout routine, combined with some cardio and hard work and dedication! This is just a skill that you can learn and that also happens to workout your core. To get sixpack abs you will need to burn more bodyfat so you will be able to get visable abdominals!

    I can now do these and have altered the exercise slighty by doing figure's of 8 with my legs

    extremely difficult so i cant do them properly yet but your vids inspire me!

  • @misakihou the exercise you are describing is not the version he does in this video. what he does in this video DOES require some forearm strenghth. also, how the hell will him saying that it requires forearm strength cause people to hurt themselves? god you are a nob head.

  • @misakihou I've done the exercise by lying beneath a desk and putting my hands against the drawers of the desk. It did work and didn't require forearm strenght, so yes, in theory you don't always need strong forearms, but that way it's not trully a dragon flag I believe. But thanks for the concerns. There have been plenty of people trying this and hurt theirselves even though I put a warning in the video (like anybody cares about that :P)

  • if you had a bar that you could press against with your triceps or elbow.. or something that would hold your weight and counter balance you against your shoulder on the bench.. you could do this exercise without using your hand or forearms at all.. so to say you need strong forearm strength is not correct.. i just didn't want people to hurt themselves trying to do this exercise by receiving the wrong information.. NOW.. keep up the good work because you are a beast.. good job..
