In this video I show how to use Seasonpass to jailbreak your apple tv 2. It does not come with nito tv preinstalled.

Watch my SnowBreeze video if you don't want to ssh nito tv into your device.

  • You should check the date on the video before you make comments. This video is before the iOS update. But thanks for the advice.

  • No the movies still cost. All of the normal apps are the same. Xbmx gives you the option to any movie format off of you own external hard drive.

  • You will have to download it and then ssh it into your atv2. F it were me and I did I would use snowbreeze. It already has Niro built in. Then you can easily add tweaks like overflow, xbmx, and so on. I have used both and I prefer snowbreeze.

  • with xbmc you can see all movies FREE by streaming directly from Ice Films for example. BTW... PLEASE don't say stuff like "underneath of it." Only 'underneath it." We English hate it when Americans bastardize the English language - it makes them appear to be stupid.

  • The reason you have trouble when holding the two buttons to activate DFU mode, is because, from your video, the remote was nowhere NEAR the Apple tv, and the remote is infrared, and needs to fire the IR beam in a line of sight, to the Apple tv sensor :-)

  • @unlokia Also, you state that the cable is "mini USB", which is also incorrect - it is MICRO usb. :-)

  • Sorry to appear pedantic, but they are "IPSW" files, which stands for "IPhoneSOFTWARE", not "ISPW", as you state. Thanks :-)

  • How to insall NitoTV on it??

  • Nice try but thats tethered

  • Are the movies free after doing this? What are some cool features that you gain? Thanks.
