WOW i remember this like it was yesterday what great teams we had in the late 90s early 00's. lol love how jackson referred to recchi and JR's OT goal as overtime MMMAGIC! im so glad hes still our announcer, hopefully there will be more magic to come against the oldskool rival bruins in 2010!

The Flyers are the NHL darlings killers. The leafs, ovechkin, brodeur, the canadians. The odds(refs) are against them in these series, but they still prevail. Fuck the rest of the NHL, holding a grudge against tge flyers for 40 years.

Well I'm only 16. But, I grew up in a Flyers'-crazed family and grew up watching a lot of vintage games with Gene as the play-by-play.
And I agree, Lauren Hart is the best N.A. singer in all of sports.

unfortunately i wasnt around for Gene as im only 19, but i do recall him and coatsey calling the 1998 phantoms calder cup championship. He was great and his daughter is by far the best national anthem singer in the country.
