@cometomyfrontdoor the mic isn't the trouble, the camera has a constant auto-focus and in order to make it so you don't hear that noise they have the gain on the mic at a ridiculously low level.

@thelethalmoo Chinese pre made lasers under 1 watt are usually under a grand, otherwise for ever watt you add a grand and thats still with slower galvo kits, Lasers in this class made by other countries " still using Chines lasers can cost several grand. Building my own to true spec and speed probably saved me as much as a spent if not more if I where purchasing a decent quality laser.
