I made this video for my vis175 class (an intro course in editing) at UCSD. It was one of my very first projects ever that I created so definitely a learning experience. My old roomate Brian Park helped me as cameraman.
The quote comes from my old basketball coach Brian Bedford who gave us the these words of inspiration (in a frame to put on our desks) after 5 years of coaching my teammates and I in club basketball. He actually holds a California record for field goal percentage in high school basketball, and played football on a professional and collegiate level for UC Berkeley. So he does hold credentials for work ethic and believing in oneself.
The video itself speaks not only on athletics but in achieving goals on any level and in any form. Nothing is done overnight and I'v been trying to implement that mentality into my everyday life although it is the most difficult yet simple concept to follow. Attack challenges one step at a time and before you know it, when you take a look back, you realize you have exceeded your own expectations.

Very nice, made me cry. I guess this is for marathon but I'm going to show it to my children who are currently being homeschooled. My son has a learning disability and I think this will be good for him. I like the little math thing to, it'll make learning measuring fun. I know that wasn't the purpose of your video but it works for me.
