This is a HO scale layout with typical Victorian scenery, including a very long and impressive bridge and some very effective fields of long grass made from faux fur.

Filmed at the Hobsons Bay exhibition in 2004.

  • Carn't for the life of me think why there is steam sound.

  • @GoonTV1

It was some generic (steam) sounds, or the sounds of yapping kids at the exhibition. I went with the lesser of two evils ;-)

  • is that an E8

  • not quite, Australia had a number of loco's that were based on US domestic varieties however they were heavily modified for the more restrictive loading gauge here. The loco that appears at the start of this movie was a Victorian Railways "S" class dating from the 1950's, shown in the 1990's Vline livery. A number of these locos are still in service in 2007!
