CanaDog Kennels begins training for the 2009/2010 season. Fall training begins with the Quad. We race sprint, running mostly Canadian Racing Hounds from the "Slim" line, with a mix of Seppala and Alaskan Huskies. All the dogs run together in large teams at a slower, controlled pace. When the temperature drops, we increase speed and distance ~ dogs are separated into smaller teams with matching athletic abilities.

Great video! That is so cool. I want to get into dog sledding just for fun. We gets lots of snow here and own a lot of land that I could run dogs on. I have three Lab/Collie/Golden Retriever puppies that I want to train when they get a little older, they're only 3 1/2 months now.

Nicely done video. Looks like you had a cinematographer with a good camera, good set of skills and good editing program! Also nice for us recreational "mushers" with one or two dogs to see how the big teams do it. For all you follks who can't live in the frozen north, or have a kennel full of Alaskan huskies; if you have one or two dogs (any medium to large athletic breed) you can mush on bike, scooter, rig, kick sled or skis. Show us more!
