@n9iagalbert agreed...i have the 3.5 liter charger with a stroker kit that brings it to 4.6 L, dynoed at 328 rear wheel HP, and i cant do a burnout for the life of me, at least not without break standing or starting buy whipping the back end around a corner

@RhymexAsylum I havent tried it, but unlikley. Maybe, but I would make sure traction controll is off first. Its going to be dificult as the front tires will be pulling and the key to power brake is holding the front in place with brakes.

is this possible if my charger is awd?

@DemEazy With the DIabloSport Preditor, you can fully 100% disable ABS, BAS, and traction controll. Its called Dyno mode.

For the people who didn't know, whenever you turn off the esp you gain all of the torque on your car, which means it will increase more horsepower and torque. The auto locking brakes will not take place when you hydro-plan so in other words when your wheel begin to spin on ice or whatever, your brakes will not automatically stop your wheel from spinning, you have to apply braking yourself. I have a 2006 dodge charger police interceptor V8 5.7 H.E.M.I the mean machine and i like to disable ESP

@Thomashaile26 True, also Dodge recieved MB ESP so there are 3 levels of ESP / Traction controll. Fully on, normal mode, Partially deactivated, which is done by pushign the button on the dash that says turned off, but isnt fully off, then there is the actual fully off, which actually fully disabeles ESP, BAS, and ABS. The car first tries to gain traction by braking the slipping tire, if that failes to be enough then it reduces throttle, so your right foot has little to no impact to the car.

@n9iagalbert What the button does is removes this reduction in throttle, but it still applies brakes to make the open differential function like a limited slip and makes power go to both rear wheels, and if its still spinning both it applies hard brakes to reduce engine power, wich typically doesnt help if your really in the throttle.
Fully off is gained by using an aftermarket tuner, and tellign the comptuer to fully turn all of these off.

@n9iagalbert This video was done by using an aftermarket tuner and fully turning all esp / bas / abs 100% off, so it no longer backs off on throttle, and it doesnt brake the tires.
None of this should be confused by what Dodge does which is torque limiting, and it limits the torque output by about 20 ft/lb torque with the standard Dodge tune, this is by design. It reduces stress into the transmission, and the rear end / tires are matches to handle this reduced stock torque.

@n9iagalbert When you use an aftermarket tuner to disable torque limiting, you will see about 20 ft/lb torque to the rear wheels increase with 93 octane fuel and a 93 octane tune from the 5 speed auto, AND this will increase wheel spin enough that your 0-60 / 1/4 mile times are typically slower with the added power, because the tires dont grip. If you had a seasoned skilled professional race car driver then perhapts you could see increased times.

@n9iagalbert Point being one of the reasons they limit torque is because the entire car is ballanced for this lowered torque, and unless you put wider tires with grippy summer only tread you dont realize the increased torque in your 0-60 or 1/4 mile times. So Dodge ballanced it well, right to the limit
But this torque limiting is totally seperate from ESP. It is also the same thing they did with stage one comptuer for the SRT-4 Caliber to keep from burning up the stock transmission.
