Launch of IQRA TV

Mufti Shah Sadruddin (Damat Barakatuhum) graduated as an Alim from Darul Uloom Bury in 1985. His thirst for knowledge subsequently took him firstly to the world renowned University of Al-Azhar, where he graduated from in 1987 with a Masters Degree in Hadith Sciences and then to Darul Uloom Deoband where he completed Ifta in the year 1990. Thereafter, he was assigned the position of Teacher of Hadith in Bangladesh and following his Khilafat as a Shaykh of Tasawuf in 1997, under the instruction of his Shaykh Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib (damat barakatuhum) he became the first Shaykhul Hadith of America at Jami'ah Madania, Buffalo, New York in 1998 and then the first Shaykhul Hadith of Portugal in 1999.

He is currently the principle and rector of Zakariyah Academy, Forst Gate and trustee/director of Al Falah, Hackney. He is also the chief patron of Jamiat Ulema UK and ex-amir of Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Europe.
