At a Barney Frank town hall meeting in Dartmouth, MA, a constituent asks, "Why are you supporting this Nazi policy?"

Frank responds: "On what planet do you spend most of your time?" He then calls her approach "vile, contemptible nonsense." He closes by saying: "Trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table."

I'm def. not fan of Obama but the question is laughable. Comparing Obama to Hitler. If she would have asked her question w/o the hyperbole & rhetoric it wouldn't seem as asinine. The 'massive infusion of cash' is a bit of an exaggeration. They contributed to candidates that ran on the tea party platform, but I think it was a small amount compared to the massive amount of money funnelled into the traditional parties during the same elections. There is big money on both sides of the aisle, which is why the set of laws for restricting lobbyists needs to be fine tuned, to keep all of the special interest foxes out of our collective henhouse.

Conservative, in today's arena, means less - not zero - government intervention. To preserve the basic social values of society, as it is now - not 200 or more years ago. "Classical" refers back to the original use of the word, which I believe is the French Revolution. That no longer applies. Conservatism is about traditional values, never fascism. Some Nazi's claimed to be about tradition, and were thus considered to be 'conservative', but who can trust a cult to use words correctly.

Hitler did many things, but the bill of goods he sold to the people in order to gain power was a socialist platform. Mein Kampf was the political platform of the national socialists, was pro-union, promoted class warfare, and puts forth the idea that there is some evil jewish conspiracy for world domination - which includes controlling the government.
