At a Barney Frank town hall meeting in Dartmouth, MA, a constituent asks, "Why are you supporting this Nazi policy?"

Frank responds: "On what planet do you spend most of your time?" He then calls her approach "vile, contemptible nonsense." He closes by saying: "Trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table."

  • As I Canadian I must say Canadian health care works GREAT...until you need it...

  • I'm always amazed at how people can be so stupid as to fight against their own self interest. It's laughable if it weren't so sad.

  • Always distracting the general public from what is really going on. If we get caught up by these intentional distractions, we will miss what is important. Emotional distractions lead no where positive. Use your head people and see what is really the focus and what is really the issue with Mr. O's healthcare. Let us the people be the change and the hope for us the people.

  • That's why Canadians come to the US for treatment isn't it? Fucking idiot, stop watching Michael Moore.

  • If that was the case no one would have nor need insurance lmfao i mean really? Think about stuff before you say it lol

  • The emergency room cost 10 times more than insurance or health care shall I say. Get real!!!

  • Barney Frank is an absolutely awesome dude!

  • A love it when people invoke the Holy Founders and the Sacred Constitution in these debates. The Founders were people, not saints. The Constitution was a framework for government, written on paper, not stone. That's why we can have amendments. It was not written in a vacuum, Times and priorities change. One of the biggest challenges facing this nation is the need for quality, affordable healthcare for everyone.

  • My big problem with healthcare is that none of the founders allowed the federal govt to have its nose in health care. Therefore, the states may regulate it. I also do believe that money that I earn is mine. The government has no right to take it from me for social programs that aren't laid out in the constitution. The only reason government exists is to protect my life, liberty, and property from enemies domestic and abroad.
