Yes - really original questions because the interviewer is Bernard Levin, well-known journalist and TV broadcaster who also had a regular colum in the Times for more than 25 years until 1997 - he loved Wagner. Birgit Nilsson is fabulous: as a singer and a personality - loved her autobiography. Thank you Onegin65 for posting this - what a nice suprise.

WHAT YEAR IS THIS?

I have just heared her reading her own biography (CD-book), 'La Nilsson'. Its so funny, and interesting for us who like to know how she strugggled to be the fantastic opera star that she was. And it's interesting to know more about other opera stars of her time. I hope she also read it in english for those who wants to buy it and hear it. Bye. I must hear video No2 now.

Why did somebody take the other video about prima donna assoluta out ? I never understand those things. No harm at all in keeping it there. Maybe they are preparing a full documentary on her. The same with a Swedish newspaper online, they took away the most interesting video. Why ? Are they going to sell it or they just do not want us to be happy ? Miss Nilsson is so funny and pleasant to see and hear even when just talking or running down the streets to an opera house !
