57 YOM complaint of chest pain. Echo study showed a localised echo-free area posterior the left ventricle. Patient has a history of cardiac surgery 7 years before. He had some pericardial effusion noted after the surgery and was observed for one month in the hospital. LPE can be caused by post cardiac surgery. With complete compression of RA, this leads to carcardiac tamponade.
