"Game 7" - A Hockey Documentary (June 15th, 2011 in Vancouver)

This vid is just a quick look at 24 hours throughout the day of game 7 between the Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins. With the goal to capture the love of hockey in Vancouver and the energy of the fans, I had no idea that my documentary would twist into capturing the city's social problems.

Great watch, very interesting to see the "predictions" of the riots before hand. Hard to remember when there are so many internet badasses who talk trash over such a great game that it is after all just a game.

I wasn't in the city/country for the playoff run, but watched most games online. You did a fantastic job filming the excitement of the people. It's just such a shame all the positive energy that this event created in the city was completely erased within a few hours by a bunch of sore losers/misguided youth. It's pretty tragic actually.
